Three talented Jewish women of Indian origin in Israel's music field:

1) Liel Kolet — is from a musical family. Her great-grand Uncle, Ezra Kolet Z”L, was the founder of the Delhi Symphony Orchestra. He used to bring his violin to the synagogue and play our beautiful melodies. Ezra’s sons were also accomplished musicians

Liel’s performance at President Shimon Peres 90th B’day (with Bill Clinton and Andrea Bocelli)
2) Salome Rebello, made Aliyah from Bombay. Conductor of symphony music.
3) Sophia Solomon, She made Aliyah from Banglore

This year the Indian Jewish Congregation will be celebrating Simchat Torah as per the details given below:

The celebrations being on a Sunday, we expect all our friends and members to be there in full force. Please bring all your parents, children and grandchildren for this wonderful celebration done in the traditional Indian way with singing and dancing during the Seven Hakafoth.

Delicious Indian and American Kosher snacks will be served in plenty.
